This is sort of a backwards question but I asked it on the Atari ST newsgroup
and didn't get an answer (that helped any):

Can one use a IIgs monitor on an Atari 1040ST?  I recall seeing that they have
the same horizontal (?) rate (15kHz)

Anyone know how to do it?  I have an old Atari 1040STf I got for next to
nothing ($6) that seems to be alive and well but I can't tell for sure without
a monitor.  (this is the one without the composite output)

Any help appreciated!
