You have put a lot of work into organizing, building, and maintaining our
FAQ's. That you have a certain proprietary interest is not at issue.
The FAQ's were entrusted to you when you volunteered to become the Keeper.
Thanks largely to your efforts, the csa2 FAQ's are a source of pride. They are
not, however, your personal property.

One need not prove that the csa2 FAQ Keeper is supposed to facilitate
free, open access to the csa2 FAQ's. The observation that members will not
tolerate using csa2's single most important information resource as a weapon
against Apple II users is, simply, a statement of fact.

Cute; but, unworthy of someone who has done much to help so-called "no
brain, no clue" users.
As you must know, the copyright question will, in the end, be moot.
Extracting facts from the current FAQ's is easy. Entirely rewriting the FAQ's
and producing a high-quality product will not be difficult.
All in all, your decision to restrict access to the FAQ's has produced
a ridiculous situation. For any user, let alone thousands, to be denied access
is silly. A project to rewrite a perfectly good FAQ base seems kind of silly,
too; but, evidently, it will happen.
Access to csa2 FAQ's must be free, unrestricted, and open, without
exception, to all Apple II users. Perhaps, it is not too late for the current
FAQ Keeper to set things straight.
