Ah... I remember that puzzle.  I followed the intended solution, but
even more so.  I built a robot which could make it through the duplicate
maze, hit the trigger, AND return.  Imagine my surprise when the robot
hit the trigger and all those walls vanished.

Oh well -- there's always the pride of accomplishment.
