I used to have a IIgs while in college around 1990.   Still have it
actually in the garage.  But anyway, My freshman year roomate was playing
games on the computer (I wasnt in the room at the time) and the power
supply failed dramatically with a bang an a bit of smoke.  Scared the
living daylights out of the guy.  He was sure he hit some keystrokes that
made it blow up (obviously not true but it would be cool if it was :) )
He was so sure he broke it he would have bought me a new one.  I told him
to chill out a bit and got it fixed myself.

Not that this answers your question really but it sure was funny when it
happened.
