My guess as to your problem would be that the drive has been formatted on
an Apple II and that there is no MAC driver partition on it. The Apple II's use
ROM on their SCSI card to handle this but a MAC needs a driver on the drive.
There is a program for the GS that patches the formatting code to install a
generic MAC driver on a drive when it is formatted. I have use it and have not
had any problems with those drives being recognized bt the MACs I have.
