AW file corrupted

I'm a IIgs user, not a guru.  I have an AppleWorks Classic (v3) spreadsheet
file which has become corrupted on my hard drive.  Can it be restored?

1. When I try to open the file via AppleWorks, I get a message, File Too Big.

2. According to the GSOS (v6.01) it is a 13K file.

3. Using Validate in GSOS, it confirms the file is damaged.

4. Trying to Duplicate it gives a System Error ($0020).

What does all this mean?  I have ProSel if there is a way to open the file and
change something.

Any help would be appreciated.  The file was updated twice since the last
backup, so I'll be losing a little bit of data if I can't restore this file.
