Based on a few comments received via e-mail, I guess I need to conduct a
survey to determine exactly which models of DeskWriter do work with the
Harmonie drivers.
 
When Shareware Solutions II took over as the publisher of Harmonie, I was
told by Vitesse that...somewhere along the line...HP made some changes to
the DeskWriter that, in essense, made newer DeskWriter models unusable with
the Apple IIGS.
 
Unfortunately, Vitesse didn't tell me which DeskWriter model numbers were
verboten. So, following a "better safe than sorry" cautious course of
action, I assumed (incorrectly, as it turns out) that models later than the
560 were incompatible.
 
Then, I received an e-mail that told me that the Harmonie DeskWriter 560
driver works great with the DeskWriter 660.
 
So, I'd like to ask a big favor...if you are using a model of DeskWriter
(newer than the 560) with the Harmonie drivers, could you drop me an e-mail
and tell me which model of DeskWriter you are using successfully?

In the meanwhile, I'll contact Harmonie author Bill Heineman to see if he
can shed some more light on which newer models of DeskWriter work with the
IIGS.
