I'm sure that's not what the poster meant, but NT 5.0 and "Memphis"
(Win95's successor -- Win99? ;-) ) will have multiple monitor support
of the type that the Mac has had for many years. The control panel
even looks exactly like the Mac one! Of course, there's not even a
bit of acknowledment given from the Microsoft camp about where the 
ideas came from.

I'm probably not qualified to give an opinion on this matter, but
from my perspective, I think dumping Amelio now was a very bad move.
The worst thing that could happen to Apple is that Jobs get back in
control. And if Apple goes, where will Microsoft steal their ideas
from then? ;-)
