Yes they are. :(
The GS should be able to remove the Mac partition, however. The
disk just needs to be unlocked first. The Zip disk has a special
crystaline area on the bottom, lower right corner. It stores the
lock/unlock signal (methods unknown). If the disk is locked, you
can't partition or write to it. The ZipTools disk included with
the drive IS locked.
