There's a utility available to make Control Panels into NDA's, I think.
Also, if you lock the CDevs, the kids will be unable to change the
options in the CDevs. Of course, if they know to unlock the CDevs, they
can get around this.

If you have HFS partitions, you can set the name of the folder to " ",
and set the folder background to white, then set the folder outline to
white (hold down Control key while selecting White). This makes the
folder completely invisible, even when invisible files are shown. You
just have to make sure that a) you know where the folders are, b) the
folders are also marked invisible so they don't show up in file dialogues.
If you have an icon editor available, you can also make those folders
have smaller icons, to decrease the likelihood a student will find them.
Last, I believe AutoArk has an ability to password-protect files, if that
would help somewhat...

I'm currently working on a "Terminal Lock CDev", but I would guess this
is not something for which you'd be looking (it's good for a main
computer console).
