I am one, who has an Iomega Zip drive sitting on an Apple High
Speed SCSI card. The problem is with termination power, which is not
supplied by the HS card.
My card is a modified one, done by an experinced soldering man.
What he did was to draw out a +5v from one of the ICs and into the pin on
the SCSI connectors to provide a termination power.
There after, no problems at all formatting the disk |8)
I might have to see what was done as I can't recall |8P
