I'm getting MORE and MORE confused. Is the WHOLE world logging CTURLEY@WCO.COM
actions? Would the admin of adidam contact ANY OTHER sysadmin if someone with
a Mac or Dos or Unix or Linux or Whatever machine uploaded a commercial title?
Do they verify every single software title? How about a commodore 64 title
that is ten years old?

This all sounds very unbelievable. Someone uploads a commercial title, BAM! at
once the sysadmins notifies the right persons.

Have you folks ever looked at ftp-site: LSD.COM or LSD.NET (I forgot). Well,
then try to check out their logfiles to see who uploaded Wolfenstein 3D,
Twilight, Shanghai II, Diamonds GS, LemminGS, and more famous titles.

I also wonder how one can gain access to logfiles. I once asked a sysadmin for
some PERSONAL records, and he mailed me back that is was a) illegal to send
them to me, and they were b) not in the liberty to send them to me.

Sorry, I can be stupid, but it all doesn't seem straight to me. I know faking
is possible too, and I've done this with a friend on IRC to fool another
friend, so why couldn't you fake an email address?

Can somebody please explain this all to me (by email)?
