The UniDisk 3.5 polling problem is something that you will (probably) have
to live with. I never had a UniDisk 3.5 hooked to a PC Transporter, but I
have had them hooked to the GS Smart Port and it does the same thing under
running under System 6.0.1. Didn't happen under ProDOS 8.
That constant polling is really annoying to me, but can be eliminated by
using a UniDisk controller card instead of the GS Smart Port. I realize
this doesn't help your PC Transporter problem, but all I'm trying to say is
that it seems to be the nature of the beast.
