As someone else posted, the $0046 error indicates that something is missing
from your boot disk.

Error $0911 comes from the keyboard microcontroller chip, and indicates
that the chip is operating (or, rather, failing to operate) outside of its
normal termperature range. There seems to be some confusion over whether
the chip is too hot or too cold, but the authorities are agreed that it's
temperature-related.

I used to get error $0911 frequently on my IIGS, until I started running it
with the lid open. For the past few years I've been in the habit of taking
the lid off whenever I turn the machine on, and since I've been doing that,
I've hardly ever seen error $0911.

If you care about obscure technical details, error $0911 happens when the
IIGS tries to reset the keyboard microcontroller and resynchronize with it,
and the keyboard microcontroller fails to respond to the request within a
certain amount of time. The IIGS tries to reset the microcontroller at
power-on, and when you press RESET, and when you're in the control panel.
