There was a Mac program that could convert SHR graphics. I forgot the
name, but I believed it even reads multiple palette modes like 256 and
3200 colors provided the graphic was in APF format. It was a shareware
program, I think.
The other method would be to load the graphic into AppleWorks GS or
another graphics/page layout program and "print to disk" with the
LaserWriter driver to generate a PostScript file. The PS file could
then be used on a Mac or PC. You will lose many colors if you go this
route, but size would be preserved.
