I always use AXE for X Windows on the Sparc Station (FYI: I'm Doede Boomsma,
but now replying from my BBS using an alias). VI seems to be good and fast
too. However, they don't have WORD style options.
IMHO, Hermes is a very good word processor. One thing METAL programmers have
to take care about, is to save it with another editor before trying to
recompile it again in METAL. For some reason it won't work.

So, how far were you with your TCP/IP program? Was it already useable, will it
be a concurrent product of what Derek has been writing? Can you tell us more
about it? :)
