Have you ever wondered why Ian Schmidt's AudioZap v2 hasn't been released
as freeware, as Ian sort of promised us a year or two ago?
As Ian told me a long time ago, he's afraid to release any further Apple
IIGS software, because he doesn't want Dr Tom to know his present address.
Why?
Try locating a copy of Dr Tom's infamous "PR#6" press release.
That 75K file was a rambling attack on both myself and Ian Schmidt. The
juiciest part of PR#6 contained accusations that Ian and I broke into Dr
Tom's house, stole OmniPaint and Spectrum-beta, and uploaded them to the
net.
Of course, the fact I've never even met Ian didn't seem to deter Turley
from libeling us both.
If you're reading this Ian, I'd still like to meet you one of these days.
Despite our differences from a few years ago, any enemy of Dr Tom's is a
friend of mine ;-)
