I'd love to see that _if it worked_. Apparently the comp.lang.perl
FAQ is posted twice a WEEK, and people still ignore it. When people
first join a new group, their general reaction is on the order of
"1000 messages to read? No way!" and junk all messages before posting.
They way I'd like to see it done is have all newsreaders make
people read the FAQ for that group (if it exists) before they post the
first time in a given group. Simple, egalitarian, and would save
everyone a lot of trouble.
