To read newsgroups with 2QWK! you need to call a BBS that can create a QWK
mail packet for you. If you "subscribe" to a newsgroup area on a BBS, it will
send you the messages in a QWK packet. Mostly this only happens on ms-dos
based BBS's, since I'm not aware of Mac BBS's with QWK, and I'm 100% sure
there is no alfa version (or beta) of ANY kind of QWK mailer for the Apple II,
although someone mentioned he'd work on one. That must have been in the FNET
conferences around 1993 or 1994. If someone else recalls this and knows more
about it, please contact me.
