Tilghman,
Thanks, but the problem is the system uses a menu driven interface
so I have no access to a command line or to the shrc file.
I think I've worked around the problem by using pine to post to csa2.
I _can_ configure pine easily enough and while it's cludgy reading
with tin and posting with pine, it works. At least the post with
the subject line 'resistance is futile' worked, hopefully this will
too.
