Did anyone figure out if all the signature editions were made before any plain
boxes, or if they were mixed in?

Yep my first logic board had a worse problem than that and replacements had
that problem. Since my first board didn't have color fringing and others
did, I kept taking it back and bitching. I went through five logic board
swaps in six months.

I'd kinda like to find an unupgraded ROM 0 signature edition in good shape
just to have. I could fake it with the ROM 0 chip and one of the spare 01 logic
boards in my parts collection I guess. My signature edition has a ROM 3 now.

The thing that bums me out is if you sent in a signature edition's registration
card, you got a certificate of authenticity or something like that. I still
have the card and no certificate :( Should I still send it in?
