I think that someone posts a FAQ now and then in here, haven't seen it lately
though. As far as backward compatibility, I never ran into anything that would
not run on the IIgs, at least nothing that I wanted . . . hmm, scratch that,
I don't know if it was me or the program, but Ultima II didn't run on my ROM01
IIgs, but that's the only trouble I remember.
If you get a //e, a hundred or so should be ok, if you get a IIgs you might
have to spend several hundred. Look for a package deal with an Imagewriter II
and both sizes of disk-drives, and be sure to get a hard drive if you can,
either with it or separately after the fact. The IIgs is much nicer, runs all
the old stuff, faster, and runs new stuff you won't be able to use on the //e.
