   The usual 'easy tries' are Clean your disk head and Adjust your drive
speed (e.g. via Copy II+'s Verify).

   Sometimes, you can salvage data from a diskette by copying it. If
repeated tries with a fast copier (like Disk Muncher) yields a copy with
some bad tracks, you can try doing a Copy II+ Bit Copy for the bad tracks.
It is not all that unusual for repeated tries on a bad track to, finally,
produce a good copy.

   If the diskette is copy-protected, use Copy II+ or LockSmith with the
correct parms for the software.
