I have been informed by someone who should know that the Apple Color
StyleWriter 2400 is just a Canon BJC 4000 dressed in Apple's costume. I
have just bought a StyleWriter 2400 for my Mac, in the joint hope that it
would indeed work as a BJC 4000 from GS/OS. I haven't tried it yet, but
this post gives me great hope. Imagine! A printer drive for the latest
StyleWriter for GS/OS!!
The only thing I haven't found are the dip switches. Of course, the Apple
manual makes no mention of them, but I'll have a poke around and see if I
can find some. Any clues on where to look?
