Not really...nobody's ever really asked me. But in those
student-information forms we get on the first day of classes for
known programming languages, among the others I check off "other"
and write in Applesoft. Similiar for ProDOS, and...

you can find one in my desk drawer but it's not for sale. =^)
I wonder what was going through the Computerland salesman when he
sold us (my mom and I) that and "Assembly Lines: the Book" (me being
in the sixth grade at the time.) ...and to think I came this |__|
close to also owning "Bag of Tricks", but we decided to "maybe get
it later" =^(
Never really did understand those books fully, I don't think
I read past the 3rd chapter of BAD. I recall something about 6+2
or 5+2, but got no idea what it's about. But it did teach me quite
a bit about disk layout, VTOC, track-sector lists, etc... and helped
me repair a game whose catalog I accidentally trashed. =^)

ditto. However I already do have my unix prompt set to
the Applesoft ']'. =^)

I think I date back to around 1983/1984, started on the //e
with those keys with the big friendly white letterings. Had the
weirdest feeling when we got ours and it had the black letters.
(also got a similar feeling when the logo-stickers began using the
serif-font as opposed to the old "apple" font)
