There was Apple II stuff on an Apple WWWW site?  I knew of two FTP
servers that had Apple II material.

Oh brilliant.  They won't support it, but they probably also won't
allow it to be made available elsewhere on Internet (without licensing
fees being paid).

I agree.  The big question: WHO do we mail at Apple for this to be
effective?
