Actually, I've done that.  In the spreadsheet, everything is beautiful. 
The problem is, the fixed decimal apparently doesn't get carried over to
the clipboard and the word processor.  In fact, by the way, the
fixed-decimal tactic requires that you select the columns, but as I noted,
I already got that part.  Hmmmm...
