Get in touch with Seven Hills Software and ask about the "Express" print 
spooling Control Panel. It puts all the information to be printed on your 
hard drive (very fast) then feeds it out to the printer in the background 
as you work on other things. It isn't faster than printing ordinarily is, 
but it seems fast because you get control over your computer back very 
quickly.
