I am perfectly aware of the "Extensions Manager". I was not making a point
about shift-booting, but about the fact that Apple only supports
Apple-brand peripherals in the OS.

Why should Microsoft expend effort to do what is essentially technical
support for some other company's products? If Apple can't get it right,
screw 'em.
