But not a lot further than that :)  I would NOT reccomend populating it.
I've seen new GS 4MB RAM cards around $100-$120.

A memory testing utility can be found on the AppleWorks GS disks.

The Apple IIGS is truly great and FUN!  KansasFest was incredible!, even
though I only got to be there for the last day :(
