As it says, that is an internal GS/OS error. This type of message
usually means that a buggy program (or some hardware fault) has caused
memory to be corrupted. Error $0043 is "Invalid Reference Number"
(i.e. a reference number which is not associated with an open file).
A genuine case of a program attempting to call GS/OS with an invalid
reference number is always intercepted when GS/OS is called, and an
error is returned to the program. The only way you should be able to
get this message is if GS/OS internal code or data has been corrupted.
The address is inside the bank zero language card space of GS/OS. I'm
not sure exactly what it means - probably the address from which the
"crash" routine was called.

Is it safe to use a Rev C RamFast in a IIgs? (or is it just the Rev D
cannot be used in a IIe?)
How much RAM is installed in the GS Ram Plus?

It sounds like you have a pretty heavily loaded system. It could be a
power supply problem, but it could also be a faulty memory card or
chip, a faulty accelerator, a faulty SCSI card, or buggy/damaged
software.
What version of the system software are you trying to run? Have you
_ever_ successfully booted the system? Have you tried doing a
shift-boot (this will eliminate extensions and may bypass a buggy or
damaged program).
