Help with //c plus

I'm not certain if my last post ever made it or I sent it to the wrong board,
but here it goes again.

I recently obtained an Apple //c plus and I need a few questions answered.  
This system incorporates a 3.5 internal drive and I was wondering if it was
possible to switch the drive's configuration to read as being in S6,D1 instead
of the S5,D1 default.  I also have a 5.75 external drive that I picked up
with it and it strikes me as odd that that is the default drive instead of the
internal.  I'd also like to know what the KEYBOARD button on top of the case is
for and why do the keys print out different characters when it is engaged.  Is
this used to emulate another system or protocol?  And I've been able to ID what
all the other expansion ports are, such as the external drive, the modem and
keyboard and the mouse/joy port, but what is the port next to the ext drive
port? RGB monitor? Hard drive?  What was the latest version of PRODOS 8
packaged with this system and where can I obtain a copy?  

I also need to know where I can get a modem and printer cable for it.
