On GEnie, I visit A2, A2Pro, and occasionally a couple of other RTs.
Calling every day or two at 9600 baud, my bill is about $30/month. I use
GEM, though, which automates the message downloads, E-mail, file transfers,
etc. The only thing I would have to do manually would be Real-Time Chats,
but they're _expensive_ time-sucks. GEM works with AppleWorks 3, 4, or 5
(depending on what version of GEM you get) and ProTERM, Spectrum,
Point-to-Point, or Talk Is Cheap. Another offline processor is CoPilot,
which doesn't require AppleWorks--it includes its own editor, and it is
GS-based.
