BINSCII GSCII Help
I just downloaded both BINSCII and GSCII+. BINSCII EXE'd fine using
BASIC and looks like it works. GSCII+ didn't want to use magic routing to
get into my SYSTEM.DESK.ACCS folder (I have a IIGS System 6.0.1),
so I moved it there manually. Not all of the text shows up on the screen
in GSCII+, but since it's just the credits, I don't worry about it.
I got a couple of jpg and gif files off a couple of USENET binaries
areas. I cut off everything before the line that says, for example,
Begin PICTURE.1.GIF.
I cut off everything after the line that says
end
I saved the file as a TXT ASCII file.
Using BINSCII, it mulls the computations for a while and stops with
no results.
Using GSCII+, it shows it's doing the conversion, then says, "not a
Binscii or BinHex file." This occurs whether or not I activate the box
that talks about separating Mac files.
So all you Apple II supporters, what's up with this?
