GS/OS Bad Directory Error

I have a HD partition that has nothing by Prodos 8 files on it (
Appleworks 3.0 & Appleworks files). In Prodos 8, Appleworks can read all of
the files & there are no errors (even when verify in Copy2Plus is used).
However, in GS/OS 6.0.1, when I try to use ShrinkitGS to archive the files I
keep getting a error for a bad directory ($51 I think). It gives the error
whenever I try to go into any subdirectory of a certain subdirectory.
Additionally, Shrinkit (8 bit) is able to archive the files without a
problem.

I think this may have also happened at another time. Is there a
reason GS/OS would see a bad directory when Prodos 8 does not see a
problem & can access all the files? Will removing just the offending
subdirectory fix this or will I have to re-initialize the partion to fix
this? Any help would be appreciated.

	Thanks.
