You must have a Mac SCSI driver in the drive's apple_driver partition. Moreover
the driver must be able to recognize valid disk partitions with names other
than apple_HFS. I can use my IIgs' hard disk with my Mac but only the HFS
volume shows up. I've heard that Apple's HDSC setup app installs a driver
that will recognize ProDOS partitions, but it only likes drives with Apple
ROMs unless you patch it. If the drive wasn't formatted on a Mac you can only
hope that there is an apple_driver partition since not all II formatters put
one on the disk. If there is you might be able to install a driver in it with
an app such as Transoft SCSI Director.
