Ok -- I've tried this (on a friend's TV from 1988, with a 'Video In'
jack). However, I still do not get any clear picture on the TV.
What channel do I need to set the TV to? (Channel 3 did give a
VERY fuzzy view of the Apple // boot up screen, but I couldn't clarify
it. Other channels gave nothing but static.) Would there be some
reason I'd need a newer TV to do this?

Thanks to everyone who has answered this (and to those who will
answer later).
