how to use inews

Better yet, you could just talk directly to an NNTP server. Use "telnet
news-server 119," where "news-server" is the name or IP address of your site's
news server. Once you're in, enter "post" to begin adding an article to the
system. You then feed it an article in RFC1036 (?) format, terminated by a
dot (.) all by itself on a line. Repeat this until you've posted everything
you want, then enter "quit" to disconnect from the NNTP server.

One warning, though: make sure you use unique message IDs. The best thing to
do would probably be to make up a bogus name for your system and then number
messages in ascending order...your first message would get ID <1@foobar.org>,
your second message would get <2@foobar.org>, etc.
