Proterm 3.1 - Dropping Char

    Hello again, for some reason when I'm typing in the ce editor in elm I'll
get characters jumping all over and/or missing.  I have to tap Ctrl-L to
refresh the window and everthing will be fine but it's such a huge pain in the
ass.  What should I havemy control panel set to such as handshaking to stop
this?  I'm using a practical peripherals 14.4.
