Re: Apple SCSI card. Help Needed!

-Locuctus

'89 is a good year for your Apple scsi card. It is the EPROM
on it that determines it's revision level. Needs to be rev C.
Someone here mentioned the Apple part number a week or so ago.
but I don't remember it.

Anyone --- Was that a free upgrade from Apple??

Remember to set the scsi I.D. on the card to 7 and some number
less than that on the drive. There are other formatters around.
Eg: SCSI.HACKER and HDFORMAT. The Apple disk for the Hi Speed
DMA scsi card won't work.

A defective card is possible but they are pretty robust so don't
give up on it too soon. DickP
