For 8-bit //'s, there is a program called something like GZ2PKZ, which will 
change the gzip file into a PKZIP file, which can be decompressed with 
Angel. For the GS, the same route is possible using PMPUnzip to decompress 
the file, or use gunzip under GNO (and Orca?)...
