Slot 7 is fine, and it will boot from slot 7 before 6; it starts at 7
and works it's way down. I assume you mean the SCSI card is a RamFast
card, and not an Apple HS SCSI card, and if so, there is partitioning
firmware built into ROM on the card. To access it, press 0 while booting.
Any version of ProDOS should work.
