Re: SS/TR sofware support (was Doom Conversion)

This might not be possible... wait, Quality is behind this, so maybe it can
be done. Personally I think there might be some cool programmers out there
willing to write those freeware/shareware painting programs like those we
have.

Highly doubt so. Thought that nobody can figure out the source code.
BUT! Updating AppleWorks 5.0 will be another story, it will attracts those
dieheart //e users (whose majority are using AppleWorks) to buy SecondSight!

YES! This is another one that will attract both //e and IIGS users. ProTerm,
if updated, will be hard to beat. ANSITerm will face a great competition in
this field.
I do know Jawaid plans to support SS in his coming TelCom II comm software,
however, maybe that would threaten Spectrum as the #1 desktop comm software!

A patch, cool. How about some finder extensions? Like a new FinderView?
A text viewer? (A text editor might required the update of TextEdit)

80x25 OR More. But 80x25 has to be supported since not all SS users have VGA
monitor.

Yes, get BurgerBill to program Doom. Let us all buy Wolf3d and prove that there
is still a game market for GS.
