I'm not specifically familiar, but going from the serial/model numbers,
I'd bet it's a 1200 bps modem.

I'd also guess th  PW is simply a power indicator, the TR is "Transmit Ready"
and HS is "High Speed"

Try setting your communications 'ware to 1200 and see what happens.
