No, actually the easiest way is to get a Null Modem Cable and connect
the two computers together.  That's what I do to transfer pictures.
Download them on the 486, resize and convert them to GIFs, then just
null modem them over to the GS.  Now with AppleWorks files, I believe
you'll have to save them as ASCII files before sending them over to
the MSDOS system.
