well, is the message you get "unable to load prodos"?
if a prodos disk have no prodos.sys on it, it will show such message,say,
this disk is not bootable. find one with prodos.sys to boot,and you can read
other diss

on the other hand,if your clone computer didn't show "APPLE ][" at power up,
for an unpatched prodos system,it will not boot. you must patch your prodos
boot disk in some way.(say, if your clone shows "ORANGE ][" etc....

any other possibility?
