Don't you just love USENET?  Tongue-in-cheek humor starts flame wars.
Apologies start flame wars.  Praise starts flame wars.  Flame wars start
flame wars. :)

Everybody, back to your corners.  Internecine squabbles over perceived
emotions and perceived innuendos take a lot of creative energy and divert
it from positive applications -- like supporting our favorite little
computer, the Apple IIgs.  I've spent more money on my IIgs this year
than on all four of my Macs.  I'll continue to support (with my voice
AND my wallet) all good s/w and h/w products for the machine in the
future.  Let's not get all wound up in word wars, people; let's get back
to enjoying our IIgs'es and sharing our knowledge so the machine will
continue to thrive.  Thank you and good night.  :) :)
