I think you are somewhat out of line here telling us that _we_ are idiots
for not vigorously tracking down improved versions of standard utilities
and switching over to them. This ncftp must have practically no advertising
if I haven't heard of it yet, so why don't you promote it instead of asking
us what is wrong with us that we don't already know about it?

Huh? You seem to assume that everyone with a full net connection (are you
sure they really have one or does their email just make it appear that way?)
has a duty to learn how to use it effectively. Most people have lives to live
outside of their net hobby. Please respect that.
