I do not shut down before switching...the setup it not perfect, but it
works. Sometimes the mouse speed is different than usual (maybe if I
switched at the right time during boot?).
I don't have the switchbox company's name handy, but I can probably
dig it up. You could probably walk into Fry's Electronics (around
here) and find an ADB switchbox; also check MacWarehouse & similar
places.
