I've never actually installed or removed a 16K Language Card from a
][+ before so I want to get the scoop before I try it (I don't have
any docs or manuals on it either).
I plan to remove the 16K Language Card (genuine Apple) from my Apple
][+ so I can use a Legend S card in its place.
What chip goes in the socket on the motherboard where the short 16-wire
jumper from the Language card attaches? Is it a 4116 DRAM or something
else? If it's a 4116, I suppose I can shanghai one from the Lang. Card
to replace it.
Thanks.
